The SAPSAN Centre is specialized in: designing, manufacturing and repair of control systems, communication, detection, telecommunication and radar equipment as well as of specific data processing system’s e quipment.

SAPSAN Scientific and Production Center Joint Stock Company has been founded in 1991. The Centre is specialized in: designing, manufacturing and repair of control systems, communication, detection, telecommunication and radar equipment as well as of specific data processing system’s equipment. The Centre is engaged in virtual engineering and designing of radio electronic equipment, complexes and systems.

    The Centre incorporates:

  • scientific complex organized on the basis of the Center of simulation of the electronic equipment, complexes and systems.

    The Centre of virtual design of the electronic equipment (CVD), complexes and systems provides:
  • introduction of the system of control over the projects and electronic document management at all stages of the life cycle of electronic instruments, complexes and systems;
  • introduction of the developed technologies of virtual engineering in the leading research institutes and design-centers of the Concern Radioelectronic technologies JSC;
  • rendering of methodical and technical assistance in development of electronic models of electronic systems and simulators of the input effects of the developed electronic systems;
  • training of the specialists of the enterprises in using the technology of the computer -aided design and support of the electronic complexes and systems at all stages of their life cycle;
  • development of the imitation models of the advanced equipment and system of Electronic Warfare;
  • development of the imitation models of the equipment and systems of Identification.
    The Centre of virtual design of the electronic equipment, complexes and systems is designed to solve the following engineering tasks:
  • a nalysis of resistance of the electronic equipment to heat and mechanical effects;
  • automated issue of the working mode diagrams for the electrical radio components;
  • computation of the reliability indexes for the electronic equipment.
    The CVD is based on the automated reliability and quality assurance system of the electronic equipment and is its development in the medium of super-computer. The assurance system is used for designing and virtual testing of the electronic equipment according to the following documents:
  • GOST 2.052-2006. Electronic model of article;
  • RDV 319.01.05-94, edition 2-2000. Principles of use of mathematical simulation for designing;
  • RDV 319.02.49-2003. Computation methods for evaluation of the electronic equipment resistance to mechanical effects and procedure of their use;
  • Decision of the 22nd TSNIII of the RF MoD as of August 21, 2008 advising to use the assurance system for designing the electronic equipment for the RF MoD.
    The work plan of the CVD Centre provides development of the hardware/software complex as regards:
  • analysis of the electromagnetic compatibility of the electronic equipment;
  • diagnostic of electronic module on the basis of the results of the pyrotechnic and electrical measurements;
  • analysis of the fatigue strength of the electronic equipment;
  • analysis of the radiation resistance of the electronic equipment.

The CVD Centre programs under development can be automatically integrated with any of world available computer-aided design systems which are used at various Russian enterprises.

    The CVD Centre provides:
  • at the stage of design – advent of the electronic dummy of the instrument (electronic certificate) and performance of the virtual tests of the electronic dummy to determine its resistance to the effects of the destabilizing mechanical and heat factors, including the complex effects; automated issue of the working mode diagrams for the electronic elements being a part of the instrument and computation of the reliability indexes;
  • at the stage of manufacture and tests – determination of the test plan and elaboration of the proposals for replacement of a part of the full-scale tests with simulation; performance of the virtual tests of the electronic dummy, including the complex effects of destabilizing heat and mechanical factors;
  • at the stage of operation – performance of the virtual standard tests instead of the full-scale ones, с subject to the data accumulated in the electronic certificate, analysis of the condition of the electronic module during its disposal or extension of service life subject to the operating conditions.

The technologies of SAPSAN CVD Centre will provide better efficiency of the Design Centers that are to be organized at the leading enterprises of the Russian Technologies State Corporation. This is dictated by that the Design Centers are problematically oriented at development of various instruments, complexes and systems, including electronic equipment. As a rule, the electronic equipment is developed by means of various import computer-aided design systems that can provide designing the SBIS crystals, chip assemblies and electron circuits on the basis of these elements. Further designing of the electronic equipment is made according to the traditional technology, i.e. elaboration of the design documentation, manufacture of dummies and prototype models, cycle of preliminary tests, MC (ST) and placing the article into production (batch, series, etc.). Updating of the design documentation should be provided in this case after each stage of development, manufacture and tests. This process of the equipment advent, even at the positive PT (ST) does not guarantee a positive result of the instrument operation as a part of the complex or the system from the first attempt. These problems of the electronic equipment advent can be solved by the technology of the virtual engineering that is being developed at SAPSAN.

Imitation simulation being developed at SAPSAN provides the advent of the digital technologies for forecasting the quality of the developed complexes and systems of the Electronic Warfare and the identification friend or foe. According to the modern concept of organizing the circuit of control over the advanced inter-service autonomous groupings, SAPSAN performs synthesis and analysis of one of the main subsystems of the circuit – Functional subsystem of Identification Friend or Foe, in particular, on the basis of the major components: smart-phones, portable computers (notebooks) and mobile computers manufactured by SAPSAN Centre.
